Land Opening

Before opening, Disney parks, experiences and products revenues for the quarter increased 5 percent to $6.2 billion and segment operating income increased 15 percent to $1.5 billion in the year prior.

The next phase was to introduce the first Disneyland and Walt Disney World full land opening in partnership with Lucasfilms.

Tickets sold out in two hours.

 

First In The Galaxy

We cast super fans of the Star Wars franchise, and documented their experience being the “First in the Galaxy” to experience the new park.

Taking into consideration the look and feel of the franchise, we shot it as documentary content with the cinematic language of the films in mind.

The video launched with an exclusive BuzzFeed article to help promote the upcoming opening of the park.

Resistance Ready

The Resistance needs heroes. 

So instead of simply promoting the newest Star Wars attraction, we created a campaign that shared inspiring stories of those whose heroism makes them Resistance Ready and deserving of a once-in-a-lifetime Star Wars experience.
